As a child my energy level was such that I was always moving. Rarely did I stop to notice my surroundings.

I can remember no defining moment when I finally slowed and started to see the "light", but when I finally did, my world changed. My photographic images changed as well.

No longer am I that fast moving child that only noticed the porch light that went on and off in the early evening when my Mother was letting me know it was time to call it a night. I now am a student of the light.

I stay "still" enough now to notice how the light illuminates the world around me. I've learned that the light is ever changing and that I'll have just that one chance to capture the beauty of what the light has reveled to me, the beauty in "My World".
